Kune Kune Pigs

Kune Kune pigs are native New Zealand, although DNA analysis indicates they are originally from Asia.  Their bodies are small and fat, with short legs and round bodies.  Similar to some goats, they have waddles, or tassels, called piri piri hanging from their lower jaw.  Kune Kune pigs are often multi-colored.  Unlike other pigs, they are friendly and enjoy human interaction.  This is why we can allow our farm guests to pet our Kune Kunes if they come to the fence.  They really enjoy belly scratches!  If in a field or pasture, they will graze on grass and we also feed them grain.
